Metro Park

Metropolitan Park in downtown Jacksonville hosts many of the city’s largest events. From the “Welcome to Rockville Festival” to “The Big Ticket,” Met Park offers a sonic venue for concertgoers.

Hailed as the First Coast’s premier recreational facility, the park can hold up to 15,000 people. It has a reversible main stage that serves as both makeshift amphitheater and an outdoor pavilion.

The park has hosted such diverse acts as Starry Nights, the World of Nations Celebration, Fourth of July Celebration, area non-profit events and many more. Plenty of musical groups including Tony Bennett, Brad Paisley, Jessica Simpson, Earth, Wind and Fire, James Taylor, Idina Minzel, Michael Buble, Styx, Train, Nancy Wilson, Lonestar, George Benson, Faith Hill, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jackson Brown, Chaka Khan, John Rich and Wynona have also preformed there.
